The big question

This is Brett taking time out from his new hobby to relax on a lawn chair. What's his new hobby? One word: "why?"

"Put your hood up, Brett. It's windy."
"Why?"
"It's windy. I don't want your ears to get cold."
"Why it's windy?"
"Well, there are air currents and the rotation of the earth, but it's too complicated to explain."
"Why?"
"Go ask Daddy."

"Why there are chloclate [not a typo -- that how he says it] chips in my banana bread?"
"Because it tastes good."
"Why?"
"Hey, Baba's on the phone!"
